Spurred on by the positive reviews to Before the Rising…

…I have launched enthusiastically into the sequel:

Old Napier is drowned under 20 metres of seawater.

Napier Hill now is an island whose inhabitants are suspicious of New Napier and the

shadowy figures who seem to control it – the Land Lords.

Am having great fun imagining a sea mammal’s creation story.

Polly demanded a much bigger storyline this time, and two new characters have found their way to centre stage.

Not even I know where this is heading yet!

Laptops are great, but pen and paper and manilla folders are essential at the nutting out stages.
